More on Anarchist Neckerchiefs

Various schools within the anarchist movement have adopted their own flags, colours and neckerchiefs. These flags are bisected diagonally with the right half in black for anarchy and the left half in a color representing each school's ideas. These color templates are also extended to five-pointed stars representing the same schools.

The
red-and-black flag is the symbol of the anarcho-syndicalist and anarcho-communist movements. Black is the traditional color of anarchism, and red is the traditional color of socialism. The red-and-black flag combines the two colors in equal parts, with a simple diagonal split. Typically, the red section is placed on the top-left corner, with the black on the bottom-right corner of the flag. This symbolizes the co-existence of anarchist and socialist ideals within the anarcho-syndicalism movement, and to symbolize the more socialistic means of the movement leading to a more anarchistic end.

The
black-and-yellow or black-and-gold flag is used by anarcho-capitalists and other market anarchists. The yellow is intended to symbolise gold, a commodity of exchange often used in marketplaces unrestricted by state intervention. The flag was first used in public in Colorado in 1963 at an event organised by Robert LeFevre.

The
black-and-green flag is used by green anarchists and anarcho-primitivists. It is generally taken to symbolize a vision of anarchism that focuses on the self-determination of all forms of life (animals, humans, bioregions) and not just humans, hence the green.

The
black-and-purple flag is used in association with anarcha-feminism, as is the black-and-pink flag, although the latter is more closely associated with queer anarchists. Unlike other bisected anarchist flags, it does not necessarily represent another form of anarchism, but is used to focus on opposition to the hierarchical patterns of heterosexismsexismtransphobia, and patriarchy.

The
black-and-white flag is used by anarcho-pacifists and, to a lesser extent, Christian anarchists.

  1. Look, a lot of anarchists disagree and infight, but no self-respecting anarchist recognizes anarcho-capitalists. Seriously. It's an insult to the history of anarchism to even include them in the same list.

It's easy to look up more opinions. Frankly, there is nothing free about inventing a machine, obtaining supplies necessary to build it, putting it to practical purpose only to have it stolen by phony anarchists. Anarchy is no government. You don't get to say what I do, how I do it, or what is or isn't mine.

  4. Actually real anarchism is the free market, the phonies are the socialist that need to use of force to get their way. Market anarchist believe in a volunteer society rather having people forced to work at gun point, which is basically everything else on this list.

    1. pure ideology and antagonism, friend.
in spain, the only people who were forced to leave were the wealthy elites who ran crying to franco.
here's the point, once porkies acquire the meams of production, they don't give it up, and it's either work for porky so he can exploit your labor and give you crumbs to the loaf you have to make for him or starve.

profit is merely the taxation of wages on the poor, benefitting the capitalists

  5. How exactly is anarcho-capitalism not a variant of anarchism? True anarchy would be anarcho-capitalism.

  6. Anarcho-Capitalism is true anarchy utilizing a volunteer system... Nice description, @wtfhaha. I identify as an anarcho-capitalist, individualist anarchist, and crypto-anarchist. In the event SOPA or PIPA pass, use this to bypass the DNS blocker (ahead of time): http://www.blockaid.me/

  7. The Anarcho Capitalist flag also represents Voluntaryism and the Non-aggression principle.
Non-aggression principle: The principle or idea that every person has the right to live as he/she chooses so long as it does not involve initiating force or fraud against another person.

  8. @ wtfhaha Socialistic anarchism isn't about force, it's more about community and social equality. Socialism it self was based on principles of anarchism.

    1. if your theory is community based it is by its vary nature against the individual and their individual thoughts and preferences as it is not individual based.

that is a priori knowledge, it cannot be wiggled around any more than things fall down.

Anarcho Capitalist philosophers use a priori knowledge to synthesize their theory. these are exacting standards that allows no infringements by any standards set.

all of the other above theories and their philosophers use a posteriori arguments to justify their theory.

a priori is knowledge independent of personal experience, where a posteriori is justification based on experience. this is a matter of favoring objective-ism or subjective-ism

  9. Kant not withstanding, is there any a priori knowledge?
